B E Nagy grew up in Orange, California and has been a lifelong reader. He especially enjoyed classical literature as a child, but has a bent for the fantastic. He attended the Orange County School of the Arts’ Creative Writing Conservatory, where he received the Director’s Award.
Stories are not something we read, but something we live.
Nagy primarily writes short stories exploring themes of universal symbolism, individual and communal rationality, generational family dynamics, virtue and faith.
Fiction is a bridge between experiences that can open us up to fresh concepts or understandings. It is a bridge from the old to the new, from the poor to the cheerful, from the mundane to the true.
Nagy currently lives in Phoenix, Arizona with his fiancée Kaylen.
